This Wednesday of Dyspraxia Week 2023 we are proud to be sharing more of your own stories. Today we hear from Erin Bundey and Sarah Campbell.

Erin’s story.

I’m Erin and I have two children. My oldest child Renée is 10. She is autistic and has Developmental Coordination Disorder.

Renée was diagnosed with both DCD and autism at the ages of 6 and 9 respectively and it was quite hard watching her struggling with things that seemed to come naturally to other children and ‘missing’ some of the developmental milestones.

Sarah’s story.

I was diagnosed with Dyspraxia at 37 following being offered a free learning difficulties assessment upon starting a foundation degree. I’d not really thought about it before, always just been told I was just clumsy and did things too quickly.
