New online study for adults and children with dyspraxia or developmental coordination disorder (DCD)
The Motor Development and Impact Lab (MoDI Lab) at the University of Surrey would like to invite you to volunteer for an online study investigating how individuals with dyspraxia or DCD control their actions. This includes movements, learning and decision-making processes. Have you ever thought about your efforts when performing daily activities to make sure that you perform to the best of your ability? How do you stop your difficulties from getting in the way? Is it just about your movements, or does it affect other activities such as learning and decision making? These are some of the questions that the new study is hoping to address in both children and adults with dyspraxia or DCD. If you are interested maybe you can volunteer and contribute to this project. You can volunteer to take part yourself or with your child/children.
In a slight change to previous years, this year we are bringing you a range of wellbeing experiences, all submitted by our community who want to share their own personal stories with everyone. We will be bringing you a range of these wellbeing experiences throughout the week!

We are looking to gather case studies for Dyspraxia Awareness Week 2020. As you may be aware we run a cyclical programme for Dyspraxia Awareness Week, with a focus each year on different age groups. This year, however, we’ve chosen to encompass an intergenerational theme around Wellbeing. COVID-19 has changed the way we live and the overarching theme from people who have contacted us via our Helpline email service is how to cope with change whether that be for themselves or supporting people with Dyspraxia during this
difficult time.
New inquiry seeks to understand and improve support for dyspraxic people in the UK
The All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Dyspraxia has today (03.08.20) launched an inquiry into the experiences of people with dyspraxia in a bid to ensure that all those with the condition are better supported in society.
I’m a postgraduate student at the university of Edinburgh, currently doing a study about people’s feelings and personal experiences with Dyspraxia/DCD and ADHD in an online questionnaire. I am looking for participants who are:
