Hotties Micro Hottie - Microwave Hot Water Bottle
What our community says about this product:
Pros - "‘Hotties’ is a microwaveable hot water bottle, so no hot water/kettle is required at all. As someone who has severe dyspraxia, I’ve scolded myself when pouring hot water from a kettle into a hot water bottle far too many times. In the end, I concluded it’s just not safe for me to make a hot water bottle, so I ended up forgoing having one. Now I’ve got a Hottie, I just put it in the microwave for a few minutes and it’s ready to use. It’s absolutely made my life easier and I feel every dyspraxic person should know they exist! I no longer have to choose between experiencing period pain, or making a hot water bottle to help with the period pain, but with the very real risk of scolding myself. Also, Hotties have undergone lots of safety tests and has a safety feature where if it is left in the microwave too long then it gradually oozes the water rather than bursting suddenly. Also, I’ve bought Hotties for several dyspraxic friends and they’ve all said they love them and it makes life easier!"
Cons - "Very tiny downside is that you have to remember to turn the Hottie over half-way through when you’re heating it in the microwave. I set a timer on my phone for 1.5 minutes and wait by the microwave. When the timer rings, I turn it over and then reset the timer to heat it for another 1.5 minutes."
