LOCAL GROUP REPORT

BERKSHIRE GROUP

Each week

Skill         Monday and Fridays       5 groups   20 places       

Gym         Saturdays                      2 groups   16 places

Horse Riding  Sundays                   3 groups     6  places

Each year

P.G.L. Activity weekend in October at Hindhead, which is attended by an

average 25 to 30 children and 10/12 Adults. Activities include Abseiling, Go-karts, Fencing, Zip-wire, Climbing, Quad Bikes, Rifle Shooting and Low rope course.

Last November we ran an Information evening, for this we collected all

the books, Gym equipment, useful gadgets we could for people to look at

and try. Produced displays of our activities and handouts. The evening

was attended by parents, teachers and health professionals. We are

planning to repeat the evening in another area in Berkshire in April.

December we hired exclusive use of a local leisure pool for a party and

tea after, this was attended by 28 swimmers and 7 other adults.
